White Collar Crime

The Butler County Prosecutor and has a dedicated assistant prosecutor to handle employee theft and embezzlement, scam cases, bank fraud, identity fraud, forgery, money laundering, corrupt activity cases, contractor theft and other complicated financial offenses.

The Prosecutor's Office plans to further expand the White Collar Crime Unit and sees the prosecution of financial crime as an area of growing responsibility for the office. When businesses, banks, and insurance companies are victimized, it hurts us all.
